In his latest solo exhibition, Uncharted World, acclaimed Malaysian artist and character designer Michael Chuah invites you to follow his signature creation, Yuurei Neko Sama — the beloved cat turned ghost.

When Yuurei Neko Sama receives a toy ship as a gift, he faces a choice: display it safely on a shelf, or brave the unknown. Choosing adventure over decoration, he sets sail into uncharted waters alongside his loyal frog companion. This whimsical journey brings them face-to-face with a vibrant cast of new mythical youkai, proving that the greatest destination of any voyage is self-discovery and personal growth.

Featuring an immersive collection of designer figures, sculptures, and vivid acrylic paintings on canvas, this exhibition highlights Chuah’s distinct pop-art style. Having exhibited extensively across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, China, and Malaysia, Chuah once again brings his masterful character design to life in a storytelling experience that will captivate art collectors and pop-culture enthusiasts alike.
