Since May 2021, the country was under lockdown as part of the government’s plan to curb the rise of COVID-19 cases, resulting in many industries, including visual arts, to be closed under further notice.
In June 2021, a digital exhibition with the theme #KitaJagaKita was launched, and artists were invited to engage their creative minds by creating uplifting and positive artworks that communicate the healing power of wellness.
Artists Afiq Sebari, Firdauz Baharuddin, Peisy Ting and Vishal J Singh were amongst those who submitted their rendering of positive artworks. For their efforts, they each received a wellness care package valued at RM500, courtesy of Doux Visage®, Malaysia’s first Health and Skin Management centre.
Founded in 2002, Doux Visage® provides customised holistic treatments using a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western practices.
