Life, Full Circle

Were it not for the unifying language of art, Leo Wei Ming and Mardi Rahayu’s world would have remained forever apart. Born almost two decades apart, it seemed unlikely that the two would ever have met. While Mardi put aside her passion for art to pursue a corporate career, Leo discovered his devotion to art as early as three years old. A fated chance meeting however, led to both bonding over their shared interest in raising awareness about the plight of stray animals. The result is “Life, Full Circle”, an art exhibition dedicated to highlighting the lives of the strays, be those fortunate enough to find shelters over their heads or the unlucky ones roaming the streets, defenceless until their final days.

“When we observe our four-legged friends and their life journeys, we realise that humans share many similarities. Some of us are blessed to have a roof over our heads, while others struggle every day to make ends meet. The parallels are the inspiration behind our works; an honest attempt to depict the raw moments in our daily lives, difficult or otherwise.”

Life, Full Circle will run from 20 October to 21 December 2025.
