The Art Walk
A new artistic avenue unveils at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre inviting the community to embrace the local art scene in a different light.
The Art Walk sets the stage for diverse Malaysian artists to share their artistry through serial pop-up showcases in one place.The debut of The Art Walk kicks off with a pop-up showcase in collaboration with ZHAN Art | Space and RAAQUU, featuring emerging artists like Haris Rashid, oodplex, Peisy Ting, and Adil Abdul Ghani. The pop-up showcase will be home to their extraordinary work for a period of time from September to end of October, and since been extended with a collection with Nigel Sense.
Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara
New Wing, New Look
As part of Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara’s major expansion plan in 2022 to cater for growth and provide a greater range of specialist services to patients, Haris Rashid was engaged to enrich the hospital wall outlooks with Malaysian culture and elements that portrays a calm outlook for the patients.
Using the technique of watercolour and colour pencil, 6 designs were created to complement each floors of the new expansion wing. The brief was simple, to design something that reflects Thomson Hospital’s commitment as a hospital to not just serve but also be a living part of the Malaysian community, resulting in a series of flora and fauna artworks.
F&N Malaysia

F&N Fun Flavours launched its brand-new packaging to the beat of the younger generation in February 2023. To complement the electrifying new look of F&N’s popular carbonated soft drinks which are now GEMPAK-kan; three local Malaysian mural artists namely, Kenji Chai, Haris Rashid and Mohd Zaki were engaged to be part of the campaign.
Funky murals at the entrance walls of several MRT Bukit Bintang station were designed and executed as part of the on-ground engagement which targets the younger generation in the heart of Bukit Bintang.
