Walk in to Element Kuala Lumpur this 23 – 27 November 2022 and be transported into Haris Rashid’s Kamarimba, a room filled with mystical yet surreal creatures meticulously captured on canvas and wood.
Kamarimba is inspired by Haris’ own bedroom, a safe space for contemplation and dreaming, a place where he could freely express himself without fear of judgement and create fantasy fictional stories. The creatures showcased in the show appear almost mystical, shrouded in a surreal background, and yet all of them exist in reality.
The exhibition is a participating gallery of CIMB Artober 2022.
